This beautiful example of geode jewelry is made from a slice cut from a small “oco” geode that was collected from inside an ancient lava flow. They are sliced into thin sections and then highly polished on both sides. This geode pendant has a warm tan color along some of the outer portions of the face, and the inside edges are lined with sparkling crystals. The outer edge is trimmed with an accent of durable 18 kt. electroformed gold and a totally invisible, baked-on protective coating has been added to the gold for greater durability and abrasion-resistance. The chain is gold-filled and the pendant measures slightly less than an inch in height.
