These fossil shark teeth are from an extinct type of shark called a snaggle-toothed shark. The beautiful and yet, sinister shape of the teeth is both beautiful and unique. The pendant and earring teeth are carefully matched in color, size and shape. The roots on the teeth are electroformed in a durable, 18 kt gold and a totally invisible, baked-on protective coating has been added for greater durability and abrasion-resistance. The earrings are accented with chevron-shaped beads with a metallic finish in colors to blend with the enamel on the teeth. The wires on the earrings and the attaching ring on the pendant are gold-filled. The pendant measures .8 inches in height, perfect for a shark tooth necklace.
