Agatized coral makes some of the most unique coral jewelry in the world. It fossilizes in dozens of colors and textures and this pendant is no exception. The agate that replaced the original coral is translucent and you can see into the interior of the agate. The domed shape of the face of the pendant highlights the different colors within the contours. With this beautiful contrast of honey gold and white ivory. the combination is truly striking. The edge of the coral is outlined in durable, 18kt electroformed gold and a totally invisible, baked-on protective coating has been added to the gold for greater durability and abrasion-resistance. The rope-style, 20 inch chain is gold-filled. This lovely pendant measures slightly over 1.5 inches in height and represents some of the finest beachwear jewelry available.
