Fossil shark tooth are not commonly found with such excellent preservation and a natural, very high luster on the enamel. This extraordinary fossil mako teeth is a superb example of both of these features. The blade is in perfect condition with no nicks or worn spots on the blade. The root on the tooth has been electroformed in 18kt gold and a totally invisible, baked-on protective coating has been applied for greater abrasion resistance and durability. A decorative, gold-filled dangle has been added to the 20 inch gold-filled chain. It bright gold is reflective on all sides of the dangle. The tooth measures slightly over an inch in height.
