Paua Shell (Abalone) Crescent with Fossil Shark Tooth Electroformed in 18kt Gold

This stylish pendant is made from a crescent shaped from paua shell (abalone) that shimmers like the sun on the ocean when any light passes over it. Nestled within is a top quality, flawless fossil shark tooth. An accent of electroformed 18kt gold has been artistically applied to the crescent and the root of the fossil shark tooth. A cabochon of paua shell has been applied in  the center of the gold and accents the colors of the crescent. A clear, baked-on protective coating has been applied to the gold to make it more durable and abrasion resistant. The crescent measures approximately 1-1/4 inches in height.
