Fossil Coral Pendant

This beautiful agatized coral pendant is made from fossil coral mined in Indonesia. It is from an ancient coral reef that is now found above ground . Once it is cut, shaped into a pendant and polished, you can still see the individual polyps that are found in modern coral. It has been trimmed with an accent of 18kt. electroformed gold and a totally invisible, baked-on protective coating has been added to the gold for greater durability and abrasion-resistance.  This exquisite creation of coral jewelry measures 1.6 by 1.6 inches.
